Held warmth.

Soleil

Soleil borrows the geometry of the sun-burst — fluted yellow gold petals around a single citrine, then around fire opal, then around the rarest of yellow diamonds. Designed in 1971 for the wife of the house's third master, who could no longer leave Paris in winter.

She wore the sun she could not visit.

The pleated petal — fluted, then hammered, then polished only at the edges — remains the atelier's most demanding technique. A single Soleil pendant occupies a master goldsmith for the better part of a week.
