Solitaire
Solitaire is the maison's most austere line — a single stone, six claws of white gold, and nothing else to say. Begun in 1936 for an engagement that never happened, the design has outlived its first occasion and become the house's vow to restraint.

Every Solitaire stone is sourced by the same buyer who has worked with the maison since 1991. He has rejected far more than he has accepted; the line is, in its way, an archive of his refusals.
